Subscriptions we love
Life is busy these days and sometimes it’s hard to remember to buy more laundry detergent or make time to bake fresh sourdough. Signing up for a few subscriptions that make sense for you can save time and money and maybe even eliminate some stress from your life. That being said, there are seemingly endless subscription options out there and that alone can be overwhelming. To help narrow your options, we’ve identified a handful of our favorite subscriptions that simplify our lives and make for fewer things to think about each month.
Blueland

Blueland is a sustainable, plastic-free cleaning essentials brand that we LOVE. The main product categories include hand soap, dish, laundry, toilet and spray cleaners. Depending on your needs, you can set up a subscription for whatever products you want and set your own product delivery cadence. You can pause or cancel your subscription at any time and if you do run into any issues, the customer service is excellent.
Getting started is super easy. You can order one of their many starter kits if you’d like to use their chic glass or metal product dispensers, or you can just go ahead and start ordering refill tablets. Every product is made with clean ingredients and is shipped in compostable paper-based packaging. This subscription is truly worthwhile and will definitely save you time.
Wildgrain
Wildgrain is the first bake-from-frozen delivery service for sourdough breads, artisan pastries, and fresh pasta. And yes, this includes croissants. The brand’s mission is to provide clean, high-quality carbs prepared using artisanal processes to deliver nutritious food to your table.
The membership process could not be simpler and you can reschedule, skip, or cancel at any time. Wildgrain offers several custom box plan options, so each order will consist of exactly what you need. Everything ships frozen, there’s no thawing required, and the baking time is 25 minutes or less for each product. If making your own sourdough is too daunting, but you don’t want to pay crazy prices at your local bakery, Wildgrain is for you!
Sundays for Dogs

Human-grade, vet-formulated dog food. The type of dog food that every dog deserves. Sundays for Dogs is a nutrient dense meat based formula that is air dried so you can scoop and serve just like kibble. If your doggo is in need of a shinier coat, healthier joints, and, most importantly, better poops, Sundays for Dogs has your furry friend covered.
To get started, there is a simple quiz you take to answer questions about your dog in order to get a custom product recommendation. Sundays for Dogs shares all of the details of their recipes, including ingredients, calorie content, nutrition facts, and details on how it’s prepared. They offer a free two-week trial so you can make sure your dog loves it. From there, the subscription process is super simple and will ensure you never run out of nutritious food for your pup.
Underclub

I received an Underclub subscription from my mom for Christmas one year and it was truly the gift that kept on giving. I feel like I am always in need of a fresh pair of undies, and with Underclub, you get a new pair each month!
The subscription is super customized. You take a style quiz to let them know what styles, fit, colors and materials you like and then their stylists pick what to send you each month. You can update your preferences, and pause or cancel your sub at any time. It’s super easy and such a fun little surprise each month!
Thrive Market
A membership-based organic and non-GMO food delivery service that will keep your fridge and pantry stocked with healthy foods you love. I personally hate going to the grocery store and am always trying to be in and out as fast as possible, which means I forget things, buy random shit, and miss out on good deals.
With Thrive Market, I am much more intentional with my purchases, always discovering new brands/foods, and finding great deals! It saves me time each week and I know I am getting quality, ethically sourced foods delivered when I need them.
Nuuly
I’ve talked about Nuuly on Weekend Blithe before and I will talk about it again. If you have a busy wedding schedule, are just looking for some fun seasonal clothes to liven up your wardrobe, or if you’re pregnant and want some cute clothes for your changing body, Nuuly is an excellent option. They have clothes across every category for every body type—there is something for everyone.
For $99 a month, you can pick six different items of clothing and keep them for as long as you want! Nuuly sends you a package in a cute, reusable zippered pouch (including a pre-printed return label) and once you’re done with them, you send them back to unlock your next order. It truly could not be easier. Make sure to read the product reviews and look at the fit guide to make sure you order the correct size for each product!
Realizing you’ve run out of laundry detergent just before starting a load or wearing ratty old undies is just not the vibe. Taking the time to find a couple of subscriptions that will save you a headache every once in a while is worth it. We’re definitely not saying you need to have a sub for everything, but a couple good ones can make a big difference.
Happy subscribing,
WB
